Penelope has performed in chamber music and song recitals in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, New Zealand, and Australia. She is passionate about the role of the collaborative pianist and works as an accompanist for professional singers and instrumentalists, as well as for conservatorium and pre-tertiary students. She plays regularly for recitals, masterclasses, competitions, recordings, auditions, and exams.

Penelope has worked for the State Opera of South Australia, Opera Queensland, Co-Opera, Bel Canto in Tuscany, the Lisa Gasteen National Opera School, the University of Waikato, the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, the Elder Conservatorium of Music, the Royal Commonwealth Society Ensemble, Various People Inc., Young Music Society, and Young Adelaide Voices. She was music director and pianist for the Co-Opera/Mopoke Theatre production of Menotti’s The Old Maid and the Thief, the Mopoke Theatre production of Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and for the Opera Queensland outreach programs “Moving Opera!” and “Vocal Threads”. Most recently she was pianist for the State Opera of South Australia’s G&S cabaret, “Here’s a How-de-do”.
