Would you like to . . .

  • Discover how to play with more freedom and ease?

  • Explore new ways to make progress more quickly and easily?

  • Find camaraderie and inspiration in a small group of adult learners?

If so, The “Never Too Late” Piano Club may be just the thing for you!

The “Never Too Late” Piano Club welcomes and caters to a range of levels and experience. Our goal is to explore your love of music and help you find more joy and satisfaction in playing the piano.

I started The “Never Too Late” Piano Club because I kept hearing people say, “I wish I still played the piano, but it’s too late now…”  Having taught students ages 6 to 75 , I know it’s never too late! My amateur adult students have included artists, doctors, school teachers, social workers and a geologist.

Each “Never Too Late” Piano Club brings together adult learners with a shared curiosity. Together we create a welcoming, positive space in which everyone can feel free to experiment and explore new ideas – because learning should be fun!

The “Never Too Late” Piano Club is a six week course with weekly 1 hr sessions and a maximum of 4 participants. It will run during terms 2, 3 and 4 in 2025 , with exact dates to be confirmed.

Requirements- Music reading skills (both clefs); some piano experience (eg. minimum 2 years of lessons or self taught), the time to commit to a small amount of practice between sessions.

What The “Never Too late” Piano Club Participants are saying…

  • “I loved the way you explored the whole body/mind connections in playing. Aspects of it felt like lessons for (and from) life!”

  • “The aspect that was probably most daunting as I was anticipating the lessons was the idea of playing in front of others. However, for me, this has turned out to be a wonderful part of the NTL club. I have learnt from watching and hearing others’ reflections and learning, and they’ve learnt from my own explorations, too.”

  • “It was… Inspiring, relaxed, welcoming, supportive…”

  • "Thank you all so much for your support, insight and contribution to what culminated in the best 6 hrs of time spent!"
